hey, I’m Anessa!

I believe that capturing the beauty I see in the world (and sharing it with others) is not just my passion - it’s my calling! I recently graduated with a degree in Visual Art, and this background in art has honed my ability to find beauty in unexpected places and translate that into powerful imagery. With every photograph, I aim to blend my artistic training with my personal vision to create images that go beyond the moment, telling stories and evoking emotion.

  • sunsets AND sunrises, warm summer nights, camping & hiking, dancing in the rain, thrifting, golden retrievers, boating on the river, a good book, wildflowers, slalom skiing, volleyball, slacklining, random painting projects, spontaneous adventures big and small, dogs (sorry cat people), long car rides, warm light, and most of all, Jesus

  • I believe every person is incredibly valuable, and I'm passionate about photographing people as we are. This is because I want everyone to see how divinely God has created each one of us! I believe I can see the beauty in everyone; camera in hand or not, and so I'm aiming to serve others with the gifts God has given me :))

  • I’m a gal who’s doing her best to live and love like Jesus, as well as use my talents to bring Him glory! My friends know I'm the kind of person who looks on the bright side of just about EVERY situation. I’m encouraging and fun, and I think I bring that out in the photos I create :) Getting creative is huge for me! My goal is to create photos for you that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but are also timeless, authentic, and full of life!
